Problem

We needed a transparent National solution to track, trace and consolidate 3000-4000 product returns from customers to over 50 locations across the country.

Our industry is fast paced and when new and existing clients come to us for solutions we need a faster turnaround on system development, integration and implementation.

Our business is dynamic and our clients have unique requirements, we needed a system that allowed us to manage multiple styles of final mile delivery, from curbside delivery to comprehensive white glove services with a wide variety of product categories.

Billing and payables was a largely manual and complex process when every client has a different rating structure. We also have to manage multiple variables including distance calculations and accessorial charges. This led to a high administrative cost per transaction.

Solution

  • A base was designed and integrated with our Final Mile TMS software
  • Our client was able to access information and collaborate within the base
  • The base consolidated products and created BOL’s for return shipments 
  • We gained live access to product locations and movements through scan in/out technology 
  • The implementation of this program drastically reduced our lost/missing product claims and reduced our head count to manage the reverse program by 3 full time staff
